This weekend I took a trip to Lisbon with a friend. Lisbon reminded me a lot of San Fransisco with its cloudy weather and hilly streets. We stayed in a hostel with a bunch of other travelers and made friends to explore the city with. Portuguese is very similar to Spanish, and many people spoke Spanish too. Communicating with people was not very difficult and everyone I met was very kind. Because Lisbon is so large, there were so many different languages and cultures here. We joined an organized walking tour of the city and ate a lot of Pastel de nata. This is the third time i've been to Portugal this semester, and every time I see something new and have a unique experience.
