First School Trip!

Today was our first school sponsored trip!

The entire ICS program hopped on a bus and did a day trip to the southern point of Portugal. My host mother packed me a breakfast and lunch for this experience that I got to enjoy on the beach! The water was beautiful and it felt so nice to be close to the ocean again. Coming from Hawaii, I was starting to feel a little homesick from spending so much time in the city so this is exactly what I needed. I felt like I was able to bond with so many of my classmates and I feel like we are all growing closer. I loved Portugal and definitely want to explore this country more later in the semester.
